The Summer Collection
Summer dressing is a question of air. Linen and open-weave cotton let heat out instead of holding it against the skin, and a relaxed cut keeps the cloth off the body so it can do that work.
Everything here was chosen for the warm months: lightweight shirts, breathable trousers, co-ord sets that look put together without a jacket, and polos for the days that call for less.

Common questions
Which fabric is coolest for summer?
Linen is the coolest everyday fabric: it is hollow-fibred, dries quickly and stands away from the skin. Lightweight cotton poplin and seersucker are close behind and crease less.
Should summer shirts fit loosely?
A little ease helps. A regular or relaxed fit leaves room for air to move, which keeps a shirt cooler than a slim fit in the same cloth. Each product page lists its fit.
Does linen crease?
Yes, and that is part of its character. A quick steam smooths the worst of it; a linen blend creases less if a crisper look matters more.
