Product Details
Cream is the hardest colour to cut a full trouser in, because every fold shows. The double pleat is set deep enough that the front reads clean standing and the volume only appears when you move. Buckled wrap waistband, tapered hem. Photographed with a linen shirt and suede desert boots.

The Gurkha regiments' service trouser
The buckled wrap waistband comes from the trousers worn by Gurkha soldiers, cut to hold a high rise in place through a long day without a belt. Tailors later took the design into civilian wardrobes, and it has never quite left. Ours keeps the two side buckles and the deep double pleats that give the thigh its room, and tapers the leg so it reads as tailoring rather than uniform.
